The 1st of July saw the opening of our new facility...KIDZ PLAY (Girvan). It has been built in the upper part of the Harbour Bar and entry is by way of Henrietta Street. It should be noted that KIDZ PLAY cannot be entered by way of the the Bar and Lounge doors on the front of the building on Knockcushan Street.
We have incorporated as many features in the new system as space would allow ,including a Spiral Slide, Two Wavy Slides, an Aerial runway, Tube Crawls, a massive ball pit with almost 6000 balls !! and all the other usual features that similar systems enjoy.
Aimed at the over two year olds (although this is at parental discretion) we are hoping to fill what we see as a gap in the market for indoor play in Girvan. Our system will be kept clean and in Winter we will ensure that your child is warm whilst at play.To this end wehave installed an up to date heating system and also introduced a fully checkable cleaning rota which includes the whole play system as well as the dining area.Toilets at KIDZ PLAY are also fully cleaned on a daily basis. Again records are kept of this and are available for inspection.
At KIDZ PLAY we have tried to be realistic in our pricing policy as our aim is to have a busy softplay which as well as being profitable, also offers good value for money. To this end , Entry is £3 per child for a two hour stay, and private party bookings up to approx 20-25 children are £50.
Again this is for two hours. Party bookings started coming in for KIDZ PLAY long before we even opened so we advise to book well in advance to ensure your date is available. We are open minded regarding food at parties. We are happy to quote for buffets etc or customers can supply own food. We have a large selection of soft drinks and sweets etc, and the main menu from the Harbour Bar is available at KIDZ PLAY also.
